Stepping in Front of the Camera

Like most photographers, I find that I don't have many pictures of just me in front of the camera lens. I'm not comfortable with it focused on me. But I have taken a leap of faith and chucked the vanity (okay, most of it) to take some fun photos of me, myself, & I.
Some are self-portraits and some are taken by my always supportive hubby.

this is a 'naked shot' - no editing or cropping

another 'naked shot'

used a time machine filter for a touch of retro vibe.
Evan & I went to Wal-Mart to find the biggest black sunglasses we could so I could really rock the shades. LOL

used a color balance filter and set it to cool which gave this the blue tint

another 'naked shot' - Markas' reflection

changed to black & white and added noise to give it a grainy look

used natural lighting from a Northern window. removed noise. the soft focus was just luck and I thought it gave the pic a cool 'glamour' feel : )
I didn't realize how prominent my freckles were before this little 'experiment' in front of the camera : )
